In a nutshell, after having a couple of Swatches and Casios as a kid in the 90s, I began my mechanical horology journey in the mid 2000s with a variety of more affordable pieces like the Omega Speedmaster, TAG Heuer Monza, Longines Evidenza, and the TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Caliber 36 (the version with a Vernier scale on the dial). I then made a deliberate break from watches for several years due to the Great Recession (aka GFC), and sold those watches off since I was totally unemployed for a whooping 7 years! Afterwards, I got back into purchasing mid-range watches with a couple of JLCs - AMVOX2 and Reverso Sun-Moon, one Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 1950, and my most recent purchase - the Sarpaneva Supernova. I loved them all equally, but a couple have already left my hands due to periods of unpredictable business dealings.... For the foreseeable future, I'm aiming for either the Vacheron Constantin 1921, or Reverso Septantieme. They are my two favorite lower-upper range dress pieces of all time 🤞😊. Thanks for this wonderful exchange once more my friend, cheers, Filip
