I was finalizing a decision to go for my “grail” watch for a milestone birthday- PP perpetual calendar chronograph. I chose 5270J. Spent a lot of time researching and going down the rabbit hole. Your post and the uncovering the trove of wonders and philosophy held by LPCC and CBB was instrumental. Thanks for that post as well as this. Please keep them coming…very educational.
PS I dare not say the other watch I was considering for the milestone birthday as I even ridicule myself now for having it in contention then!

cbb's brother Khun Nick was sadly only in his early 60s :-( Since he is the eldest, he knew more about
his father's journey and was so generously in sharing his family's horological history with me on a video call even though he and I had not met previously.
Tragic.

My dad had Vacheron, FP Journe, Lange & Sohn, Ulysse Nardin, Haldiman and Franck Muller, etc. He knew Franck and FP quite well.
