Patek does seem to put a genuine effort…
…into ensuring top quality watchmaking. One would think that with the skewed popularity of nautilus and aquanauts while that of its other leather strap models are only lukewarm, the brand would put more sincere efforts to better watchmaking and innovation. Instead, it continues to churn out poor quality pieces where other brands with similar materials and configurations are selling at a fraction of its price but at much higher quality (such as Rolex).

Look at AP, the stronger the hype the more corners are cut and cost savings are captured. The stronger the brand, the more the brand itself drives the ship than the actual products. That said, I have no opinion on VC vs PP 😉

My girlfriend listened to the audio and translated the audio to me. it seems that this person has only noticed QC issues with the 5711 line and not on any other Patek watches.
The guy also claims that these are 100% authentic PP watches. Stating that he's seen so many watches before and won't make a mistake identifying real/fake watches.

Slowing the video down and a little math leads me with some doubt about the authenticity of the Patek watch. I'm no expert though. Everybody and their dog has a YouTube channel now. Just because its on YouTube doesn't mean it is true.
I personally have never had a problem with Patek quality, or their lack of responsiveness in the customer service department. Maybe I'm just lucky.
