I saw you made the same post in another thread where it got ignored, and now you are trying again here. However, when pressed about the authenticity of the watches in the video, which I also doubt, then you don’t seem sure about it.
Now your argument involves the “oil leak” on the 5370 dial of another member...are you at least sure that was an oil leak?? Have you spoken to him? As far as I can tell, neither this member nor Patek have confirmed that so far.
We have no problem if you don’t like Patek or any other brands, or even if you consider their QC not satisfactory; in fact, when this other member raised genuine and factual concerns about QC at Patek, the whole forum was extremely supportive. But if you level specific accusations, then I ask that they be accurate and intellectually honest. Until you are able to confirm the watches in the video are genuine, as you originally implied, I included a warning in your opening post. Thanks for addressing this and your other claim on the oil leak.

In the past I would have agreed but today I think brand equity isn't tied to product quality the same way
Look at AP, the stronger the hype the more corners are cut and cost savings are captured. The stronger the brand, the more the brand itself drives the ship than the actual products. That said, I have no opinion on VC vs PP 😉

My girlfriend listened to the audio and translated the audio to me. it seems that this person has only noticed QC issues with the 5711 line and not on any other Patek watches.
The guy also claims that these are 100% authentic PP watches. Stating that he's seen so many watches before and won't make a mistake identifying real/fake watches.

Slowing the video down and a little math leads me with some doubt about the authenticity of the Patek watch. I'm no expert though. Everybody and their dog has a YouTube channel now. Just because its on YouTube doesn't mean it is true.
I personally have never had a problem with Patek quality, or their lack of responsiveness in the customer service department. Maybe I'm just lucky.
