The 5270 is very weak on resale. I think the in-house movement is a big improvement, but the dial lacks the snap of the earlier models. I also think this segment of the watch market has been very hard-hit by the retraction of the watch industry worldwide. The big money folks are putting their money elsewhere, and its not in modern expensive watches.

It is interesting that sometimes the non-inhouse movement watches are more coveted, even though the in house movement is widely regarded as superior.
