Hi Patrick, thank you for your contrarian opinion. I read your post twice and did some additional research. I am not trying to defend the watch or argue your points but have my own input. Your first point about the market driven development is something we (you) can only say with conjecture, competition is good albeit I’m sure this watch was in development for an extended period of time and it is really a logical extention of the Natilus brand, who knows? The font is beautiful, if you are referring to the days, date etc, it fits and being the first PC Nautilus, is going to be different, I think the work counterfeit is unjust but you certainly can have your opinion. Point number three will prove out over time. I took a close look at the pushers/correctors and they are as follows:
Day at 9 o’clock
Date between 11 and 12 o’clock
Month between 12 and 1 o’clock
Moon phase at 6 o’clock
Certainly different than I have seen but I’m no expert. Patek uses pushers in all their complications so that is not unusual, I don’t believe we can really say “they were never conceived with this watch in mind”. Duh, it is a Patek movement and they have the right to re-conceive the 240 Q ultra thin movement however they can, injununity hard work and lots of money is what I would call it. You have a point with the hing not being functional and the pusher being in a polished area but that is what it took to fit it all in, not sure it makes a difference? IMHO, It fits and looks great, when you are getting a NEW highly complicated watch from the top brand in the world, if it works it’s great (if it is a problem, not likely) your opinion will be justified. Certainly Patek can make a mistake but I just don’t see it here. Thanks again for participating...Jim
