I agree pretty much.
The anniversary Nautilus was a big shock to me and I did not take either even those were offered to me. Also the recent price increase of 5711 & 5712 with 20% was not something I could appreciate. There are some other issues which do not make me very happy and I also feel that Patek Philippe is not the same company as it used to be.
Luckily we are free to choose. A couple of years ago I did not much look around but now I'm pretty much back to square one - my time before focusing on Patek.
I still love many of their watches but I'm very critical nowadays and will limit my purchases radically. As an example I bought this year 2 x Rolex and I will probably get only one PP this year. I also feel that it's high time to cut my collection radically.

....yes, the finishing does seem of a higher standard to the 5170......yes... On 5131.....i can't tell you as mine doesn't arrive until next week!!!
