the 5131R is likely to be discontinued by the end of this year according to the Patek director so do order one now if you want one. Actually, the 5940G was the last Patek I purchased. The first was a 5153G followed by the 5575G, the 7200R London Edition, the 5131R and then the 5940G. I think it is more important to choose an AD who offers excellent service. Mine has allowed me to pay off the 5940G on indefinite credit terms while the watch is in their safe! Also, I chose an AD outside London as I know how busy the London ADs and the Patek Salon is. So when it comes to allocation, at least I would stand a fighting chance of getting a watch!

You could open a shop!! To be honest, I think I have too many Patek pens, ties, wallets and I keep them all in their original packaging and have not used a single item, apart from a tie. Nope, they are not double sealed!!
