i believe it is more complicated than that. certainly ADs feel the pressure from PP to choose their customers well. but at the same time some of them (ab)use this situation and the artificial scarcity of PP sports watches (the others you can buy under retail on the grey market anyway, so why bother with ADs unless you eventually want a sports model) to their illegitimate advantage by pushing bundle dials with undesirable watches, diamonds, jewelry pieces on their customers. i am surprised that PP does not intervene at this level, while they are bothered about whether client with name XX lives in country YY or ZZ . this is a serious tarnish on PP's reputation and definitely requires TS' intervention. but no way, he turns a blind eye. that said i realize that AP, lange and others have made 'bundling' the official policy. so i recently bought my lange odysseus WG brand new at a reputable hongkong grey, 25% under retail. you just need to know how to navigate and don't expect fairness in this game....::
