Dear All,
After recovering from the stress of an unscrupulous dealer stealing my photo of Grandmaster Chime and make a fake sales advertisement, I finally was able to enjoy and share my joy of a double wrist shot with These minute repeaters. As mentioned previously in my post
these pieces are family heirlooms and are to be enjoyed and not for sale. Personally both Grand Complications (5207P and 5207R) are very charming because the dials are modern & clean with apertures and information is legible. The black dial with rose case provides a stark contrast which makes it stands out whereas the platinum with champagne dial is so so lovely. Of course, there are the minute repeater, instantaneous perpetual calendar (all calendar indications jump at midnight) and the discrete Tourbillon. Although one is a platinum case, Patek Philippe minute repeater sounds are still the best!. The side of the platinum is engraved to make up for the density. And of course, the rose gold... 🥰. Since I have two wrists, why not wear them both at the same time and keep comparing the sounds, right? 😉
