I'd personally go with the CK2998 in blue.
Applied indices and Omega logo, (Correct!!) subsecond markings to 3Hz, and a solid no-nonsense chrono movement. Just that no clear caseback to see the movement...which isn't an issue to many.
If you don't need the chrono function, the Railmaster is nice too - though my personal preference is the 60th LE. Again, a matter of taste...
The Omega Globemaster is quite a neat watch too. Perhaps feeling a little chunky, but being the first watch in line for the Master Chronometer/METAS certification, tungsten bezel and at least the date is sensible at 6, I think it would be a nice daily wearer,
For a gold chronograph, I personally feel there are other options outside Omega worth looking at.
