The first case reference to house the cal. 321 family of movements (then known as 27CHRO C12) in a screwback case. Hard to come by.

and he has taken it to wear all week so i am reduced to wearing a modern ceramic Ocean7 and a 1973 Seiko monaco chrono. the Omega i have with me is my 751 seamaster chronometer. it may not be a 1964 omega, but i love it to bits. the first day/date family ...  

with my Planet Ocean Titanium Liquid Metal... The watch keeps excellent time (+1 second a day) and is a complete delight see it at different angles and light, it changes and always in stunning. Best ...

and a good guess under the circumstances. As you almost certainly deduced from the dial, it is a 30T2ScRg. However, it is a Swiss case, but quite a rare reference, so your French case guess was understandable.

that sounds like a rather modern reference (correct me if I'm wrong). This watch dates to 1945.

Tony, I would have also guessed a ref 14159 from the tiny visible part of the lugs, but you have already given a "no" to Mike... It is none of the 23XX ref., I can not remember any other ref. from around that time which included a 30 T2 SC Rg with this pa... 

thank you for your thoughts. That you are unaware of this reference surely underscores its rarity. It is, in fact, a 23xx reference, and yes, I do have an archive extract from Omega. I know of only one other example of this reference that is currently in ...

... and it reminds me a "cousin" of yours, which I got in my own collection. It belonged to Argentine Air Force, and so is marked in the outside of screw backlid. It is a reference 2451, with a 27 chro C12-321 inside, happily ticking since circa 1955. I h...

as you're on the omega forum. i have noticed that the really nice examples of eterna are going up, and have been steadily for a few years now. they'll never be as sought after as omega, of course, as the companies similarities only go so far, and the last... 

I've had a Kontiki diver, allegedly Israeli special forces, a couple of Eterna-Sonics and a 1938 Czech pilots watch. All long gone but not forgotten. You never know, i may add another to my collection in the future, if i can find a nice Kontiki diver from...

hello Erich. i base this opinion, and it is most certainly just that, on my observations from collecting eterna for many years now. the company just didn't produce that many labeled chronometers. i can't help but think that it wasn't seriously thought of ...
