Panerai as a brand is all over the place
Authorized dealers and the Panerai service center along with Panerai’s website have absolutely no idea what they are selling.
1. P9010 has been secretly “updated” to REMOVE the hacking seconds feature. You would have no idea if you are new to the brand but with experience this brings instant questions
2. No one knows which case has a driven back vs screwed. You ask and get different responses. Some say they are screwed in and some say they are not.
3. No one knows which models have spring bars and which do not. They can’t explain any reasoning for it
4. No one knows what cases have pressed bezels, screwed in OR integrated.
5. P9200 movement is an ETA. Not in house. Their site and service center claim in house
6. No one can explain why a luminor has 100M vs some luminous have 300M of water resistance.
Brand has been spewing misinformation across their platforms and stores. It’s disgusting if you ask me

The appalling service was enough for me not to go back to the brand again. It is a real shame because I do like their designs.
Well...one thing for sure, to me...and again I'm clueless....
They all look very similar, whether it's a $5K one or a $100K pre-V one or the limited one with a round wording at 3 o'clock P. If someone is offended by this, I apologized but that's how I see this brand now.

Came defective with the crown guard roller ball was stuck and scratched the entire crown! They did replace it for free for me.
