I can’t go wrong. But this is a very „important“ decision for me. And it’s about a lot of money… so I don’t want to make a mistake.
Like you I am not the greatest tourbillon fan.
A tourbillon today horologically doesn’t not really make sense in wrist watches. It’s a romantic and technically spoken fascinating piece of watch history.
So I definitely want ONE Tourbillon in my collection.
And this has to be a „relevant“ piece:
A Breguet (because A. Breguet invented it), a GP (because of its unique and famous bridges) or a watch like the MB for its refinement and technical superiority).
I just have the strong feeling/fear (of course without being able to prove it regarding a Villeret watch and only with my experience with MB service regarding pens) that the service and support by a classic watch brand such as GP will be better and less anonymous. And the staff might be more "knowledgeable" than in a MB boutique.
