As I own nine Villeret pieces at the moment with another one on order I can tell you the following:
1. Resale values have been doing better in the last three years with respect to pieces in the 35-50 kEuro range. Also, the new models sell out rather quickly nowadays and don't appear with grey market dealers. For six digit watches there are no reliable sales statistics known to me. But I do know, that these watches are purchased, worn and kept - I know several fellow collectors and they don't even think about selling them. So no real prediction possible. (But you can also purchase a six digit PP and loose value when you try to sell it.)
2. These watches are usually send to Villeret (not Paris) for repair. Even the HQ in Hamburg is not allowed to work on them. In case you decide to go for this one, have it send to Villeret before delivery to get it checked thoroughly, especially in case this was the show piece at w&w. After that delivery service you should not get into trouble, the calibers are very reliable in my experience.
3. Yes, these movements are in general not very smooth to wind - your impressions sounds that this is normal but I would get this checked at Villeret before delivery.
On another note: I wonder that Bucherer can sell this watch because usually these are boutique-only models. Maybe it is the case because the MD of Villeret was former MD of Bucherer. But still, this is totally new to me.
