I find this so beautiful. As for the other questions, very personal. I do think montblanc and their minerva villeret pieces (which is their completey handmade division that from what I could find makes 300 pieces per year) is special. I do think collectors are starting to value them more as well. Resale is starting to stabilize I think (for example in the last 6 month I have seen 2 villeret chrono sell on resale for 10% of mrsp), but I don't know about these high complication models. Additionally, I have never seen or held this watch, but my cal 16.29 winds very 'chunky' compared with say my laurent ferrier which winds buttery smooth (except the feeling of the long blade lever clicking). Definitely different than expected, but to me gives it a very industrial steel work vibe like something indestructible made in 1900. Whatever you decide, I'm sure will be fun. I have been enamored by these mb villeret time pieces. But another fun tourbillon...the chopard flying t revolution edition looks on point too!
