Ok I know this is just me, and my ignorance ...but I could never wear a watch with the name MINERVA on it. Nor Ethel, or Bertha, or Beulah etc
There's just something about the name itself ...yeah I know...Minerva was the Roman goddess of wisdom, medicine, commerce, handicrafts, poetry, the arts in general, and later, war. etc etc
But I just can't do it. I won't...I won't.
Just to be clear, I can't do Fred or Hank, or Donald either.

A gold bezel will take some wear as it's also the crown. I like 2-tone on some watches but practically, perhaps the bezel in steel may have been "better". Hmmm🤔

The dial finishing and layers are really great. The placement of the sub second dial is not too high. I’m assuming hand guilloche ? My complaint here is size. Should be 38-40. The no crown- sort of cool!
