after 20 years, Montblanc has put the Minerva name where it deserves. I had posted a comment on monochrome today on the disappointing new Montblanc range. Saying that, this new Minerva costs USD 38k and it is a mixture of rose gold and a lot of steel so I am not convinced by the pricing especially of the very highly priced skeleton chronographs.

A gold bezel will take some wear as it's also the crown. I like 2-tone on some watches but practically, perhaps the bezel in steel may have been "better". Hmmm🤔

I like the overall aesthetic
The dial finishing and layers are really great. The placement of the sub second dial is not too high. I’m assuming hand guilloche ? My complaint here is size. Should be 38-40. The no crown- sort of cool!
