I've owned the MUT Moon for nearly a decade...

And I always find it interesting to hear initial impressions of the master control line.
I, too, similarly felt that my JLC was cold when I first purchased it. The silver dial / markers are exceedingly restrained; the dial, while proportioned exceedingly well, lacked character and charm; and the watch itself lacked a presence on the wrist.
However, if you fast forward nearly a decade: the watch looks as great now as it did then (is the MUT Moon one of the better designed watches out there? I like to think so!), I have learned to appreciate the subtle personality of the watch's features, and I love how I barely even know that I am wearing it.
For someone with a stable of watches, I think the master control line can be a tough sell - as it is restrained and it's personality takes a while to shine through. However, the styling is beyond reproach, and it has been a great companion for someone, like me, with a small number of watches.
