Somebody mentioned Patek?

Dear Felipe, nothing intended against you. I am just using your post as an excuse to express my ideas about watches.
I own and have owned quite a few Pateks and quite frankly I would never associate them with precise timekeeping. It is true that the name Observatoire is a little misleading, but I don't think that the idea behind the watch is simply how well it keeps time. If you have heard Daniels speak about watches, he always talks about how precise they are, but still I don't even think that the main reason for buying one of his watches is keeping time with a certain precision. My German "observatoire" watch (by Wempe) runs 5 minutes fast per month and I don't care. It simply is an extraordinary piece and I love wearing it.
