But as you say Stenning is a really cool fella. When one truly understands the provenance of their work and the historical significance of the watch I think departing with this much money would make sense lol. Also, in a time where aesthetics are overly stated, I’ve truly come to appreciate Frodsham for not being pompous in what they do. It’s deceiving simple, but we know it’s not.

It is a uniquely attractive watch, front and back.
The dial looks like enamel…is it? But I agree that the equal length hands and recessed seconds track make for a distinguished piece.

One of the reasons I actually did not order the watch 4 years ago when I first tried it on was because the wait was only 9 months. I am a total loony and actually like the wait although I would have preffered it to be 3 to 4 years. But 5 is ok

It is totally understandable that the wait time is not for everyone!
And that works out perfectly actually because if every enthusiast was happy to wait 6,8 or 10 years for a watch, the waiting lists would be hyper long!

I can sympathize with the wait. I am 6 months in waiting on a KV, with an expected delivery of "early 2025." The waiting is the hardest part.
So while waiting it is important to keep ourselves pre occupied with other pursuits
- like buying other watches or actually doing something entirely different! Congratulations on the Voutilainen - one of my favourite brands that I do not own!
