I agree, I still consider the V2 to be a substantial redesign. Although the movement team really feels otherwise. With the V1, I basically consider it a manual wind and automatic wind watch. But if I got the steel versions which have a screw down crown, I'd probably try to get the V2 version since it would be a pain to unscrew the crown every time I wanted to wind the watch. But the V1 is perfect for the titanium models or the ceramic models without a screw down crown. Since it has more visual delight. The larger balance wheel of the V2 sounds good to me too. I'm getting a V2 in my next Octo Finissimo, so I'm looking forward to comparing the two.
The Skeleton in ceramic is definitely very cool and an engineer's delight! A lot of beautiful options! Maybe we'll visit Bulgari one day! It's only a short walk from JLC! Probably less than a kilometer!
