Horological Meandering

Right! From 2014!

This is a great piece. And it's even automatic! A very cool and very thin piece. Sounded good too. You know, the funny thing about the HM11 and the Bulgari is they both have the same Caliber Number! 362! The Bulgari is Caliber BVL 362 and the Hybris Mechanica is Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 362! I remember I wasn't at SIHH that year. But I would've liked this piece. I wasn't crazy about the Tourbillon portion though. I don't always like tourbillons. And I found this Tourbillon a bit strange. The Tourbillon cage is inside the balance wheel and only rotates the interior pallet fork mechanicals, not the entire balance wheel. I find this to be a strange approach, and I prefer the classic Tourbillon that rotates the entire balance wheel itself. I'd probably do without the Tourbillon. Otherwise, I liked the idea of this watch. The peripheral rotor that was dial side might be too visible through the pierced dial. Does anyone want to see that kind of movement on the dial? Maybe a manual wind would work? But a thin minute repeater with a good sound... That'd be lovely.
The other one that would be truly awesome would be if they could re=make that Reverso in rose gold with the minute repeater and make that one sound much better but keep the Grand Taille dimensions. The GT Reverso works well on my wrist. Can they make one that sounds good?
Thank you for bringing up this wonderful memory of this piece. This piece was great!
