Was thinking the other day... if Dufour had only made Simplicity in 34mm (as he did originally) would it have become the phenomenon?
I say, yes and no. NOT in USA, but yes it would have b/c of movement.
But at 37mm... thank GAWD he did that. It made the watch perennial, eternal.

I can only say, try it on your wrist...
The proportions are absolutely spot on, so the watch does not feel small on the wrist, just right. But I do know that it’s not a usual size anymore. Btw. it was in production till 2000, and there has been produced in a 38mm version, too
