Many of us owe him a lot ...
He was always inspiring source of knowledge, but also a great fellow to spend time with. My wife called him a "typical Swiss", because he did not rush things, spoke decently and with a low voice. Many hours were spent talking not only about watches, but also about his great passion for travelling. After he more or less withdrew from the world of watches, my contacts became more infrequently, which I now regret deeply. I hope this last journey of him is a good one!
