As of now mine would be the GO PML with the ruthenium dial. I'll explain why below, but can I just take this moment to say that a "one watch collection" makes as much sense as "a herd of cow"? :)

Here are the reasons for my choice:
1. It's a very good mid-tier watch with not much like it at around its retail price
2. It's a shadow of a watch. The colours of this iteration make it difficult to notice, even when it peeks out from under a sleeve
4. It's not *that* watch, which is of course far superior but I wouldn't know what to do with that one
2. Its owned refined qualities remind me of the finer watches I've had (15 of 18 of them have gone in the last two months)
3. The watch had a faulty date window so GO fixed it in 2019; I then bought it LNIB for 60% of retail
Having started life as a kid from an inner city working class family, I reached some hoary heights during my professional life and am now settling down to more modest living. This watch captures nicely the aesthetic life I've tried to live combined with an eye on sensible spending. As such, this watch represents a good deal and for me this is far, far more satisfying than blowing a large amount on some statement watch, beautiful as that watch might be.
Of course, ask the question next week and the answer may be completely different...
