I am a big fan of Omega, not as much of Longines
But the dial on the Longines is too good! I'd go for that one, maybe in black.
Big congrats on your new addition to your collection dear friend Yacomino. Not easy to choose one or another as though both have a sector dial they are different. I like the flat bezel of the Longines so much.

I would choose the Longines for more attractive dial, slightly thinner and much more affordable. Though the Omega is technically more sophisticated.
Another handsome sector dial to consider that’s closer to the CK859 in price is the (now discontinued) JLC Master Control Sector Dial. It’s significantly thinner, but it does have a date window that is a turn off for some. Or own all three for the sector ...
Both very nice. Both different and difficult to compare. Both have their pros and cons.
Personally I‘d go for the Omega - simply because of the case shape and the more harmonic length of the lugs (I have small wrists)…
I would be proud to own either or both …

Omega for the win.. 1. Prefer the crown. 2. Prefer the lugs. 3. Prefer the hands. For me the Longines is too “mass” but still very nice.

I’ll say it’s a draw between the Omega and the Longines dial wise. It was the Longines that reminded me of the Habring/Massena colab. Both very nice 👏 HAGWE 👊🍻

I have to agree with jiggerly-cool and jp75 about the dial. The toppled over 3 doesn't bother me so much but the half-eaten 6...I just don't get it. its sort of like when they were designing the dial they didn't realize that they were going with 6 o'clock...
It's a close call.
Omega takes the win of best case, but Longines dial is a winner. Much cleaner than the almost cluttered dial of the Omega. By a very slight margin the Longines takes the win.
These two should never be parted!
