Food & Wine: Real preference for such older vintages?

So to continue the series, would have then to order a birth-year millesime 1975. But my question: Do you all have a preference for very old vintages? For instance I personally think that currently 2006, 2008, 2009 drink beautifully, I’m sure that 05 and 2000 are also great (now and in next decade?)

Vacheron Constantin: Great to hear

Fully agree with you that the memories made with the watches are as important as the machines themselves Hope you can soon fulfill your quest with the 222! Cheers, Jerome

Zenith: Nice

Very nice shots (as always) and great watch. Like the presence on wrist me also the strap in distressed leather. Sad to have missed that PuristS special issue one, looking at “normal” ones (or Breguet type xx 3803) Cheers, Jerome

Vacheron Constantin: 🔥

I love this piece, it is an amazing PCC and the small smile of the “man in the moon” is a great detail. I like the strap combo, brown fits well with the silver dial IMHO and the contrast stitching picks up the red details of the dial I like the combo 🔥, enjoy this amazing piece Jerome

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Beautiful pair … nice comparison wrt size

Nice picture of a great pair of watches. Also insightful to see them side-by-side since a picture is worth thousands words and it is sometimes hard to “see” from information like case-size how big are these shaped watches Thanks! Jerome

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Be careful ?!

Be careful with that type of statement, not that it lead to a dangerous request to dispose of the assets „which are not used anymore“ ⚠️ 🤣 Joking aside, I saw the same as you and other posters: I have too few watches which capture majority of wrist-time … and not necessarily the ones which are most

Independents: Nope …

I don’t think we/anyone can help because these are really beautiful „machines“ (and this site is certainly full of „enablers“). Maybe a safe-harbor statement or disclaimer is required when someone log into WPS? 😂😅 Good luck with your quest! Cheers, Jerome

Horological Meandering: Interesting … blockchain?

Interesting to see that the 20/80 proportion became 80/20 so fast. I read that half of the counterfeited watches are Rolex, I’m wondering what is also at the top? Nautilus? RO? ROO? I recall an older post/article about the mini fake-factories who were pilfering PP dresswatches to get hold of authent
