Ahh, I see. Now I also remember that there are indeed two mono-pushers calibers, with different sizes and leading to ca 40mm vs ca 44mm diameters when boxed. Your famous Montblanc is around 44mm and the green-dialed one is more akin 40mm. Is that right?
Beautiful, these limited editions from Montblanc are really amazing, front and back. Is that the basis for a former PuristS version as well? Best, Jerome
Thank you for this beautiful and reflective posts and the 19.999 before; it’s always a pleasure to read these, be it these these photo comparisons (of the various models) or such a nice post as this one is To the next 20k Kind regards, Jerome
Thanks for the sharing the pictures, it seems like a rarely seen whatch. I must confess I don’t think I have seen it before, tell us more about it. The dial looks especially nice, with an enamel translucent aspect. Enjoy it! Jerome
Seriously was there recently and was blown by the new salon, especially in comparison to the old one. I also heard (IIRC) that some of the new space was always theirs but never prepared to be open to the public
You have chosen where to take a stroll: place vendome with PP, and Goyard next to LV… Try to stop by the newly renovated salon of Vacheron “rue de la Paix” next door from Place Vendome… I really like the new space Jerome
My understanding is that all things being equal (eg quality of manufacturing) micro rotors are less efficient than full sized rotors. Where they outperform is that they allow to make the watch thinner by saving one “level” if I may say it so, similar to the architecture of the famous JLC/VC/PP/AP 11
Thanks for sharing these pictures - brought back so many memories. I grew up with these - so many flashbacks of my teenager years. I had the impression they had been disappearing back a little, glad of their comeback! Might have to try a pair next time I come to Paris! Jerome
