2000 posts and counting -- a bit of a photo retrospective
Greetings to all! This is actually my 2002nd post (but who's counting 
) -- my "official" 200th, if you'd like to look, is about the delivery of my Dufour Simplicity and is at the link below:

However, it's become a bit of a tradtion with me to do a bit of a photo retrospective at each major posting milestone. The last one was at 1000 posts, only 12 months ago (in fact, almost a year to the day). Looks like my posting has accelerated, as it took 4 years for the first 500 posts, a year for the second 500, and now 1000 in a year. For comparison, however, I should note that Nicolas has already gone over 52,000, meaning that he has exceeded my lifetime output in the brief time since we celebrated his 50,000 mark!
Before I get to the photos, just one quick note: we talk about watches here, but it is, absolutely for sure, all about the people. Thanks to one and all who make this such a fantastic place to visit (and stay). I am looking forward to many more years of pleasant visits here and in-person GTGs with many of you!

I think that I'm finding that my overt excitement is a little lower, but my appreciation is higher with the passage of time and exposure to more pieces. Learning more about the mechanics of watchmaking (although I'm still no expert) helps, and as my taste...
