I wish to congratulate Shani (old member of this forum)with his latest edition to his amazing collection. I really like the Green overall look of the watch a lot . I guess this watch will be sold out before this posts will disappear on your timeline π¬. Ne...
I do very much like this variant of the CS (as I do the CB without the PR), and what I assume are now applied numerals. The green being used here looks very good, but hard to tell without seeing in person. This is another great (and fun) piece in what is ...
if the CB is scaling down in production and likely to be discountinued and this is due in part to the dial and tantalum case, have you thought of asking that the movement (CS no PR) be used in a limited edition for WPS? Special dial either in color (the w...
In the context of WPS then this is really a question for Christian. It is something I would support and like to participate in should it ever gain legs. And for sure, Journe has created limited runs / batch special orders for less significant groups/suppo...
However, I think doing a limited series is becoming difficult. If you order an FPJ watch now, it is allocated well in to next yearβs production. Demand is high and production has a cap. So donβt get your hopes to high.
Do you know if future CS will have this same dial configuration? (No PR, applied numerals and centre circle) or was this just for the limited edition? I did previously try on the 40mm. Luckily it does just fit Have you by any chance seen the blue-mauve on...
About the mauve color, i think it is a purple blue. It made me think of lavendar. I really, really liked it when I saw it. especially in combination with the textured Pt. they compliment each other in a really nice way!
It doesnβt hurt to ask. My sense is that if we wanted 10 special Optimums that would be less problematic than 10 special CS. (I am NOT proposing the Optimum as base for any potential project, just using it as an example that Dollars or Swiss Francs may ma...
According to a boutique, who hastened to add that custom dials must be approved by Mr. Journe himself. Someone proposed a Sonnerie Souverain with a custom dial and Mr. Journe rejected the sale outright, turning down a large sale over a look which he didn'...
I mean, maybe it's good for us who already have a CB. Overall, I wonder if the shift to higher end models (a trend confirmed by a boutique) isn't part of where the brand is heading?
I knew production numbers have been below the 900 number that everyone throws around, and this year in particular Iβm sure the numbers will take a staggering hit. But if the general trend is to favor the higher end, I can see the CB going away at some poi...
Before that, I should say that Mr. Journe has confirmed a drop in production of the CB, specifically. So, production of that model is declining from its original yearly number even as demand increases. That points to an eventual production halt for it. As...
I like that this one omits the power reserve. Very pure dial layout. I hope FPJ releases more like it without the PR on the dial side, and with subtle dial colors. Cheers, John
The color is a matter personal preference. I wish it had been darker, but I generally go for more subtle colors. I believe that it is already sold out. Here is a picture from. Y recent visit in Geneva. For some reason I forgot to take a wrist shot. ...
The dial is gold with galvanoplastie (electroplating) in an Olive color. It does not have a lacquer finish like the CB. The numerals and hands are brushed, rhodium plated. The numerals are applied. It comes in a platinum, 40mm case. Limited edition of 99 ...
