It have a nice lime green color.
Many people loves lime color, so it is strange so little watches have a lime colored dial.

Agree with you . Love that color a lot [nt]

sure a strap contrasting it will put the dial even more in the radar imho

Best,
mahesh.,

I think your right, love these ton sure ton but a contrast color would let that dial pop even more [nt]

I had heard this was coming (and of course already sold out).

I do very much like this variant of the CS (as I do the CB without the PR), and what I assume are now applied numerals.

The green being used here looks very good, but hard to tell without seeing in person.

This is another great (and fun) piece in what is an outstanding collection.

Just a random thought:

if the CB is scaling down in production and likely to be discountinued and this is due in part to the dial and tantalum case, have you thought of asking that the movement (CS no PR) be used in a limited edition for WPS? Special dial either in color (the watch of this thread but exchange the spilt-pea for that purple of the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante platinum, for example) or in dial material (lapis? I think FPJ is done with MOP) or guilloched dial from metalem grain d'orge with a radial sunray for the sub-seconds perhaps? Applied markers, legible hands: Everything remains the same for the purple dial, 22k yellow gold hands and markers for lapis dial, blued hands and blued markers for the white guilloché dial, all with a platinum case. Or, some other idea. Anyway, what do you think? It's fun to think about, in any case!

Personally I have asked the Boutique about a special order like this; they just laughed (honestly).

In the context of WPS then this is really a question for Christian. It is something I would support and like to participate in should it ever gain legs.
And for sure, Journe has created limited runs / batch special orders for less significant groups/supporters so WPS should have a good case. And better than mine on an individual level.

I am in...

For the wps version... please Christian make it happen!!

If this gained traction, I’d love to support the effort and take part! [nt]

If there are enough showing interest I can ask!

However, I think doing a limited series is becoming difficult. If you order an FPJ watch now, it is allocated well in to next year’s production. Demand is high and production has a cap. So don’t get your hopes to high.

We can always ask 😉.

I think its a great idea

This new CS dial is most appealing.  Loss of the PR at 3 is actually a plus!  Bringing back 38mm would be a dream.

I would consider a 38mm a dream as well.

The possibilities are probably somewhere between slim and none. But at least it’s fun to dream.

not even if it was the Pope asking! [nt]

A dream it shall remain.

Do you know if future CS will have this same dial configuration?  (No PR, applied numerals and centre circle) or was this just for the limited edition?

I did previously try on the 40mm.  Luckily it does just fit smile

Have you by any chance seen the blue-mauve on the chrono in person?  Is it more navy blue or purple?

Thanks in advance.

About the mauve color, i think it is a purple blue. It made me think of lavendar. I really, really liked it when I saw it. especially in combination with the textured Pt. they compliment each other in a really nice way!

I'm very interested. [nt]

I didn’t mean to put you on the spot, but at the same time this discussion can’t happen without you and others behind the scenes here.

It doesn’t hurt to ask. My sense is that if we wanted 10 special Optimums that would be less problematic than 10 special CS.  (I am NOT proposing the Optimum as base for any potential project, just using it as an example that Dollars or Swiss Francs may matter at the end of the day).

For individuals, 200k in previous purchases is the point at which you may request a custom dial.

 By: Spangles - Mr. Tabby : September 17th, 2020-10:08
According to a boutique, who hastened to add that custom dials must be approved by Mr. Journe himself. Someone proposed a Sonnerie Souverain with a custom dial and Mr. Journe rejected the sale outright, turning down a large sale over a look which he didn't feel suited his watches...

+1 Would be very interested! [nt]
