3940p question
Hello,
I may have the opportunity to purchase an Patek 3940 in platinum soon. The other metals in that ref all have interchangeable solid and transparent case backs. The plat does not. What I would like to know is this; Does the platinum version come as standard with a sapphire crystal case back or a solid case back?
I would be happy if someone could shed light on this for me.

the solid case back is standard on the 3940P, no sapphire back available. Regarding the dial of the platinum and WG, i had the opportunity at PP in Geneva to handle both models at the same time and the dials are exactly the same.
