Are 3940's going way up???
I have noticed 3940's climbing rather suddenly lately. One well known 'grinder' is asking almost 70K for a 3940P!! NOT in the plastic. I doubt he;ll get this price, but it seems certain he'll not take less than 62, 63? This is amazing to me, when only 3 months ago, the same guy's HIGH price was 55.

My simple point is, 3940's seem to be going up significantly. (yes, I own a 3940P)

A well known auction house just sold a platinum version in great condition at their last auction for about $82,000 +/- all in. The platinum version seems to be increasing in value at a faster rate than the other metals, probably do to relative scarcity.
