and thank you for your thought provoking post. I think we can safely say that the holy trinity is a thing of the past and there is no way AP can now compete with Vacheron let alone Patek. In my opinion, Patek has no true rivals among the larger companies....

While I can't confirm this, the folks at the NYC Breguet Boutique tell me that Breguet will service any watch ever made by Breguet. I can say I wrote them about a not-too-old but out-of-production gold bracelet I wanted serviced and they were very patient... 

I know the London boutique would not do it though, so credit to the NYC boutique although I would have thought that there should be a standard policy among all the boutiques. I have no idea how many Breguet watches have been produced since Abraham Louis s...
