Whilst I have no issues with the technology in fact with the way a lot of people nowadays drive I think it is going to make the roads far safer. I find the costs you have quoted quite high as it appears to cost $2.50 per mile or £2 a mile for people like me in the Uk. Now that seems quite expensive or am I wrong about that? again thanks for your great report.

Given its level of sensitivity would you say it is an excessively slow ride?
For example, if I have an appointment at a certain time and location that normally takes me 30 minutes to get to, do I need to budget 1 or more hours to get there if I’m taking a Waymo (assuming same time of day, traffic, etc)?

I was on the, relatively speaking, higher end of those costs last year with a large truck (F-150) that cost me $1,250 pm to finance, plus $250 for insurance and then a couple hundred dollars for gas. All in, not too far off of a two thousand dollar bottom...
