But I'm happy car manufacturers began using considerably more imaginative color palettes over the past several years....
I personally like flashy colors for a sports car. The main question would be to ensure you love this color enought that you will not get fatigued by it in 6-12 months
unless of course you change cars every 6-12 months ))
I'm sure its nice but
all I can see is that green buck tooth beaver pic floating around.
Not a fan of that color, and the styling hasn't grown on me.

The issue is that these design decisions must be a function of some kind of polling/market research that showed a preference for this design. They must have heard the “beaver teeth” comment at some point before along the design process, no?
But it makes me wonder what alternative ideas they were considering and presenting such that this was the winning design. It may be that they are targeting a certain strategic demographic that indicated a liking for this design element. I don’t know, but ...

I keep wondering if BMW realized that their mainstay performance sedans were looking more and more like Mustangs. So to differentiate them they reached further back into Ford's
history and added a kidney-ized Edsel grill. If nothing else it does provide instant recognition ... like the predator grill on modern Lexus cars.
I think the G series M3/4 is intentionally designed radically to show leap of advancement
