I think our expectations are not exactly fair.

With regards to Lange, when they say all parts are finished even the ones we don't see is in reference to the movement - something that is indisputable.
In regards to the hand not being polished underneath I discovered this a few weeks back and posted the picture of the hand reflected on the numeral- I was a tad surprised thinking everyone else finishes the underside of their hands in reality it’s industry standard not to polish the underside and honestly, less than 5 indies actually do finish theirs and they charge you accordingly.
For a company that produces +/-5000 watches a year with that level of impeccable movement finishing and technical innovations, you are getting a bargain.
From my personal visits to many manufactures including indies and certainly Lange I have come to appreciate the value Lange represents - perlage, ribbing, black and flat polishing and even bevelling and polishing is done the same as everyone else including similar tools with the exception of the hand bevelling I’ve seen performed by Rexhep and at Romain Gauthier.
