silver dial more consistent with the german tradition (and let's face it, more robust). It makes sense to reduce the price accordingly. A new watch for new times. Black dial on silver lange is simple spectacular...and very Lange

Regarding the plm. I can\'t comment on Patek though, other than their annual calendar co-signed with tiffany. But, there are noticeable differences with their recently launched 5396 as well as the regular model had a price that was similar (i believe).
