actually you are right... it really depends of situation.
... its not so much the price of the strap, 400$ is not the end of the world. Its just a strap. What would make me climb to the walls, its the insistance and rigid attitude of the sales person. Having a wall telling you about rules and policy and hiding behind it. Maybe if it was a nice polite lady or a young guy that just started and applying rules to the letter, i might even argue for more than a minute.
But if the guy on the other side of the counter was the kind that wakes up the devil inside me, than its a different matter.
