Ok, I will try to answer to that one.
First, that changes a lot of things, because:
1/ You have no comparison points, if there wasn't a first Datograph.
2/ You wouldn't have to compare the " 2 " with an Icon.
3/ You wouldn't be disturbed by the comparison.
4/ You would fall in love with the movement.
5/ You wouldn't be surprised by the baton indices ( versus the Roman Numbers ). I wouldn't be that surprised by the emptiness of the dial ( compared to the 1st Dato ).
6/ But I still think you would be disturbed by the power reserve indicator. Which, in my opinion, is not at its place, which is too small, well, weird looking.
But you are right, if the first Dato didn't exist, we would be less picky with the second.
