The Speedmaster Chronoscope ! …
By: Cpt Scarlet : September 23rd, 2021-17:36
Omega announce the Speedmaster Chronoscope. References to vintage design details, the leaf-shaped hands and three “snail” timing scales on the dial give these watches a link to 1940s watchmaking. There’s also an elegant addition of a “spiral” track patter...

Correct watch but incorrect material. Hint - to go forwards sometimes one has to go backwards.
The 9900 movement is INSANE

…my only wish is that they made all the two counter speedmasters 10 bar…then I might buy one more.
The current Daytona is...

40mm (and very wearable) and is 100 meters water resistance. This Omega does seem a tad thick, especially with a manual movement. I did a search and read quite a few early reviews, and nobody mentions the thickness of the watch, so Omega is being coy with...
12.8mm is the thickness...
By: Clueless_Collector : September 23rd, 2021-18:45
but interestingly their website doesn't mention it. Fratello has this info.
The thickness has been mentioned …

“The size of the watch is good and definitely thinner than the “Dark Side of the Moon” and other self-winding compur Speedmaster models” Quote from Fratello.
The movement is a stunner

Having said that imho…does it fit speedy ? Now is speedy anymore the moon/space watch ?! I’m bit perplexed by Omegas’ approach
That’s a fair point …

But the Seamaster has also played a part and I understand that sales of the Aqua Terra range are rising.
The bronze gold version is by far

the most aesthetically successful one I think. But it's not for me and I agree adding these to the Speedmaster range is a controversial move. Cheers Marc
Am I the only one that thinks this watch is a complete and total disaster?
By: hanke : September 23rd, 2021-21:49
There are at least three different letter and 3 different number fonts. At least two of these versions are most likely impossible to read the time due to dial and hand contrast. To me this case does not fit at all with this type of dial. Still too think a...
Maybe Omega is slowly moving to an English style of movement?
By: Spangles - Dr. Tabby : September 23rd, 2021-22:05
That would fit the co-axial's heritage. I like the idea expressed above that this layout, edited and reduced, could be interesting in a DeVille. I know no one buys DeVilles, but I feel like they are really the area where Omega could have the potential to ...
the snail is drop dead gorgeous

IMHO the colour scheme could be better. Nonetheless it's awesome and exciting evolution of complication rather than another panda or monochromatic 2 eyes dial.
Thank you so much dear Captain for this introduction…

… to this new line. It was a big surprise to me as I was not aware this was coming. I like this watch very much. Specially the awesome dial with snail scale with lots of vintage vibes. Also like the spectacular looks of the manual wind movement . I would’...
Hello Abel …
By: Cpt Scarlet : September 24th, 2021-09:11
I have been told by someone who’s opinion I respect, that the watch feels less than 43mm on the wrist and displays the dial design very well. I will be viewing the watches in person next week.
That’s exactly right …
By: Cpt Scarlet : September 24th, 2021-09:17
I have been talking to someone that has handled one and it looks less than the headline 43mm especially on the wrist.
Thank you for your clarification dear Captain!
By: Subexplorer : September 24th, 2021-15:41
Yes, I feel it’s very important to try a watch on our own wrist and view and feel it. It will be very interesting to read your opinion after you try this beautiful watch. Regrettably I feel there will be a long delay in arriving to my part of the world. A...
Completely agree
By: VinnieD : September 24th, 2021-06:06
They should have put this movement and dial in a much more classical case. A dial from the 30s in a sporty case that is decades younger kills it for me. Nice movement though
Yes!

From SJX’s write up…
By: Esharp : September 24th, 2021-06:58
“Omega’s proprietary gold alloy with relatively low gold content – it’s 37.5% gold instead of the 75% in 18k gold – Bronze Gold is being used for the second time since its launch with the Seamaster 300.” How is that not simply classified as 9k gold??? Bes...
Nice speedmaster

Im gonna try this when its available in my i doubt the 43mm size would fit my tiny wrist but i still wanna try it
