You have been posting WS or Static for a long time or a few times. Either way, why don't we show off the best of the best in your HDD? Let's start the "BEST WATCH PHOTO" weekly scan! Looking forward to your best of the best! Have a great Friday and Weeken...
This is one of my favorites photos, hope you like it. Also, this is my first post since I lost my previous ID. ;) It's nice to say Hi! again. -Leon ...
¿Could anyone show me how to change my ID to prevent my mail adress to apper insted of my ID? Here I was knew as LeonDNumidia, but I can change it back. -Thanks!!
.. see your current ID? Look right next to it, you see "My Account"? Click it. Then the screen goes to the new page, and look at the right hand side and find "My Profile", there you can change your ID...... and save.... If not, ask again. Welcome back! Ke...
Thank you for the instructions and the welcoming Ken. As soon as get to a non portatil device I'll give it a try. Hope I don't bother with that anymore. ;) -Leon
¡Thanks Nicolas! It's nice to be welcomed here and also, to be able to chat again with you. From your pics I'm biased between the Freak, the Royal Oak and the PP. You are a talented photographer. -Leon
You might be right. I have to try it myself since, with the exception of the chronograph, I haven't been able to handle the other Duometres yet. Abrazos también, mi amigo. -Leon
I'm glad you like it too. Thank you very much. Hurry up! There should be a few Overseas ou there yet. Before other members get them!! Ha Ha Although, by that logic, I should be trakking several models from other photos in this thread. Cheers. -Leon
I really appreciate quality game sets....I've been looking for the best backgammon set for a long time but still haven't found what I want yet.! Yours, Andy.
. . . hasn't been altered one iota - it's just as it came off the Canon. The harmony between the red flower and leap year indicator makes this my personal favorite. ...
. . . so while they weren't limited editions, strictly speaking, they are relatively few in number, almost certainly in the three-figure range. I consider myself fortunate to have three in my possession. They are keepers, all. Best, Art
...no matter how much you love your GOs, you would not change a single of the 20+ Stones' gigs you've been at for one of them, except for a specific night. ;)
As everyone knows Vlad's aversion to garlic and other Roman torture devices. But, in any case, is the best of the set (watch and picture) IMHO. Cheers, Nilo
Just finished a large plate of Italian pasta, with homemade spicy sauce and a glass of Argentine red wine. What more I can want? I'm done for today. Cheers, Nilo
Breathtaking especially the first two. The freak is to die for, the ro shot is so well composed, one of the most beautiful pics of the jumbo I very seen. Mo
Play nice , Vlad ! That's not giving the rest of us bastardos any chance ... Sinking your teeth real hard this week ! Am surprised half the shots were taken the in the DAY ! LOL HAGWE , my dear friend !
All of them are fantastic!! Funny, but looking at each one of your photos, I am reminded of the posts you made when highlighting them. From your express trip to the US, to taking on the high seas with Bill, I can most definitely tell you that your images ...
Funny thing about this theme. I went to all pictures that I have but it seems that I prefer my most recent ones with one exception. First a static shot. Just a white gold Omega Constellation (not mine, please). I was trying to capture the case back and I ...
Your aversion to precious metal pieces has no bearing on your photography ! That is a superb dance of photography ! Mysterious as well ! Great shot , Nilo! Superb !
Don't ask me why I strongly associate precious metal with gangsters, drug lords and other type of criminals. It must be some movie that I saw when I was a kid. I have a dear friend that goes ballistic when a gold/platinum watch is offered to him, I run aw...
To Break Bad and open your illegal substances business (IMHO): Another one: And yours truly wearing the white gold bricks: Believe me. I was very nervous when I took those shots, one year back. Here, you never know. Cheers, Nilo ...
. . . when I won the 8-ball tournament at Maggie's. :-) Here's an image of a modern Omega calendar . . . . . . an annual calendar, to be precise, also in white gold. Not mine, unfortunately, and neither is the wrist, but the photo is . . . ...
Since I swap watches like a lunatic and I deep dislike watch winders, annual/perpetual calendar watches are not for me. I'm trying with my single moon phase watch, to maintain it "powered". It's manual wind and is more easy to monitor the power reserve. C...
This model with a WG case and RG engraved dial was one of my fav versions of the original Piccadilly. Peter got his inspiration from old English pocketwatches from the late 1800's The addition of the ruby on the dial was an accomodation, as was the Ruby i...
I'd hate to be a judge this week ! For me, one I took just this week. Surprisingly it took just a minute to set up, but I'm happy with the way it turned out with the chips and dice. Reminds me of some scene in a movie when the guy runs out of money and th...
A relatively recent acquisition .... Becoming a fast favourite ! ND , which would please some quarters ... LOL Such is the charm of a Rollie ! Classic reborn ! ...
But u did much much better , Ken ! Classy shot befitting of a Lange ! And u are making it hard for me to resist getting one myself !! HAGWE , my dear Friend ! Have a superb one !
thank you Mr N. the background is actually the edge of a frozen lake, but looks very 'moonlike'. best G On 11 Oct 2013 12:48, "www watchprosite" *Alert from:* www:watchprosite > *Posted By:* nilomis (registered) on October 11th, 2013 - 04:48 > > *Title: V...

nothing new sadly, but still one of my favourites. On 13 Oct 2013 06:51, "www watchprosite" *Alert from:* www:watchprosite > *Posted By:* amanico (registered) on October 12th, 2013 - 22:51 > > *Title: Hey, nice attempt, my dear FQ. [nt] > * > > *
... as these awesome pictures keep coming, they confirm my initial suspicion: this will be a most difficult W/S to judge!! Keep them coming friends and have a great week end! Abel.
Hello Ken, as there are some very skilled photographers on this forum, I slightly hesitate to post my best picture. But, what the heck, here it is: Red Sub with flower in the background. Kind regards and thanks for the interesting theme for this week! ana...
I've always liked these first photos because, at least to me, while the photos aren't the sharpest or tightest, the settings seemed to bring out something in the watches -- the CvdK capturing a December pre-Christmas dusk and the Piccadilly on a shirt fro...
Given my incredibly busy life (busy career, family with four kids.....) any time spent with watches are indeed Stolen Moments. (Though, truth to be told, I like Ahmad Jamal's version best.)
The TIME PORTAL I took this photo 8 years ago, using two huge water-jet-cut slabs of titanium, a wall plaque, and a Sinn chrono. I still like it. Cazalea ...
You called Art. Shooting through the 2" slab of titanium, watch sitting on another base of sandblasted titanium, plaque in back, light from the middle. Sadly it wasn\'t a titanium watch, but it was the Tegimented case. I don\'t remember the camera and I d...
... i just post the one i am wearing the following watch yesterday and Friday today :-) stefan (JLC 24001 chronometer) (double wristshot: i was wearing both vintages, JLC 24001 chronometer and futurematic to attend JLC event yesterday evening.) ...
... not at all, Nilo :-) i am still learning how to shot a better quality when the light is low! hope i can do it better and better! thanks for your kind words, Nilo stefan
If memory serves me well, I took these on a late spring afternoon. Lighting was subtle and I could not have been happier with the results! There was some shade provided by a few trees in the garden. Hope all is well, Art, Alex
The reason I didn't include that one is that I don't feel I've really captured it yet in a photo. I'll have to have another go at it. Thanks for the kind words.
Maybe one of my best memories - ever! Obviously one of my first attempt at taking a scan in 1999. Mom had this watch and "button" set made for Dad. Watch engraved: Mike - Christmas 1955 - Claire. Dad won the 3+ caret diamond in a crap game. All but the "b...
This one turned out ok, but more importantly it reminds me how excited I was to receive my first Vacheron Constantin and how innocent I still was to think that this would be my only VC. LOL. And this one. Maybe not the best photo I have of the EWC, but he...
I kinda thought you would pick this one. I don't know why, but this image came to my mind if and when it comes from you because I like this one, too! Thanks, Fx! Ken
Lacking the time to go through all of the archives, and having been too lazy to create any sort of coherent filing system, I think I'll start with this one -- the first photo for which I ever received praise from my teacher, Ming Thein: As with every phot...
they should made disclaimer that you are banned from this week WS :) I think I could remember few more of your shots that would qualify KV & PD in particular Sincerely D
you just ruined my mood for whole day :) What a résumé!!! Amazing pieces and shots and cufflinks are not bad either Do you have all numbers from 1 to 9? ;) BEst Damjan
...for the excess, Ken. However, each of these has particular personal 'resonance' and it would be unfair to divide them. This watch just wants to be photographed: If there's a favourite wrist shot of the same watch it's this one: This was a bit of fun ...
One of my fav photo of this Watch, and YOU are the one who took it. As for the Beba, this is a damn Watch for me. 3 times I had the opportunity to buy one, three times it escaped from my teeth... Best, Nicolas ...
...as it was for your 'Polaristi' roll-call. :-) As for the Be-Ba? Once is understandable, Nico, but three times???? You deserve your penance! Cheers, pplater.
Yes, this time-piece is Charming and Mysterious, a watch with a "history" and a special one at that! Lucky? Me? Very much indeed:):) Thank you my friend. Cheers Francois
It's a very difficult choice to make, thus I chose: The wristshot: The close-up: The movement: The static: Another static (sorry I couldn't choose): Have a nice week-end everyone :) Mark ...
the background is faded away which has this effect that when one looks at the picture, (while he still can make out the background and where it is taken), he cant help but gets drawn in to the focused object. And there is where you want his attention. I h...
A mystery to unravel. And the watch is an accompaniment. That's what I like about your picture too. It makes you want to know more. Thanks for the comments. Andrew
Every time I see your as Sub I got an urge similar to the ones that I had when I was a cigarette addict. Perfect size, not that rare but ... Attractive. I must resist or move to a more peaceful country. Cheers Andrew, Nilo
home and the bee would not leave, was in the window and even with the window open, insisted on staying. So I decided to get the camera, the box, and the watch and wait. A few minutes later the bee duly obliged! Are we not all bees drawn to the honey? :) ...
I must confess that even if it is a weird tribute to the original, with some weird détails which don't appeal to me ( the red ring of the crown, the too redish insert, and the snow flake hand + the circled indexes ), I am more and more thinking about gett...
I like this one as coincidentally I am also on it ... more in the watch ... fusion with a watch by the hot lava that the watch can tame. Best Moritz ...
