The dial is actually a dark green, which one only sees when the light falls just right. It is fairly difficult to capture in pictures. But I guess that is part of the appeal 
As far as my experience goes, you will definitely be disappointed, if you take the plunge!

Or better, several tries. You get used to big watches, but you can also get used to smaller ones. You will see. I have a " normal " wrist ( 17 cm ) and I can wear watches from 32 mm up to 47 mm without any problem. Try! Best, Nicolas

Thanks for the compliments These Habring's are great. Every one that I tried felt right, and it was a matter of what suited my taste best, which in PuristS tradition...a clean, time only, manual winding movement...that worked best for me.

I have two more incoming but both will arrive too late for this week's wrist scan. So here goes, a Grand Seiko SBGX097, with a dark green dial (not that you can tell from the pics) ...
One is an experiment, the other well known and often collected :)
