Sorry Mr. Richard Hammond, but the Lotus Elise/Exige range would be considered THE PuristS car. A car configured for the driver experience. Granted, they do not have an in-house movement. But that aside, the mid-engine rear wheel drive set up with great weight distribution, the perfect driver position, the tight but raw gear shift, everything about the car shouts PuristS. There are few cars that could be consider even more Pure (the Ariel Atom comes to mind), but unless you are talking a GT3 RS, then Porsches are for balding elders with bulging waistlines who need a tool to get a date with a gold digging member of the same or opposite sex! And when will all you sceptics understand it is not all about POWER and start building cars that can actually turn left and right?
