For me, it has, and always will be the Lotus Elise. Unfortunately I have lived for the past 10 years in two places where cars are ridiculously expensive (Singapore and Shanghai), so I could not fathom spending $150,000 on a car that cost $30,000 in the US. So I settled for an S2000 in Singapore and a MX5 here in Shanghai. But one day, when I may return to Blighty and get the car of my dreams. In the meantime I can make do with the odd track day sessions in a borrowed Lotus at the Sepang circuit in KL.
