Hello Art,

I have never been  attracted much by fast and expensive cars. I always liked - and still do - the Bond cars for their gadgets, well knowing it is all made up for the movies. As a boy I had once been to a car race with my dad and the crowds, noises and fumes did successfully suppress all further car mania. I still like sport cars particularly from the sixties, but watching them does absolutely suffice.
On the other hand mechanical watches were and still are an enthrallment to me, only their reachability having changed a bit with earning my own money smile. But the Patek MR will never be my range.
I understand your rocker chair enthusiasm which I share: I had one in my room as a student and young dad, but as it was not well balanced it disappeared in later years. The Maloof rockers must be very outstanding pieces as their prices are very igh and well beyond my means as well. But probably they are the same kind as Patek advertisements say: "You never actually own it, you merely look after it for the next generation"  smile?

Best regards
