Since the beginning of the Mahavishnu Orchestra John Mcglaghlin was my top choice in a long list of favorite amazing electric guitarists. Some research revealed him to be mostly an AP fan.

Alas, there are none in my safe. Also don't have a custom made double neck or an acoustic with an extra set of sympathetic resonance strings! Eventually Jeff Beck eclipsed him as top dog for me due to his unique playing
style and skills (thumb picking, tremolo bar and knob manipulation!). Couldn't find many pics of him wearing watches but then I also don't have a white Strat or Les Paul laying around, but as hopeful therapy for the pain of
his loss I decided to shoot some pics as a tribute to his greatness, After all the Stratocaster had to be the inspiration for my early rendition of the Ibanez RG-550. We also just lost David Crosby. The Byrds, Buffalo
Springfield, CSN&Y were all favorites when I was young so did a few images for him also. Then there's that Queen guy.... certainly no slouch and he and his pop built an iconic axe out of stuff laying around the house (!),
which just happens to be the best prop I luckily own. ;-)
”London" at the bottom of
the Solo CR. Close to where Jeff was from.
King of the whammy bar while simultaneously working those knobs!!!!
Seems that David loved his Submariner!
Turns out that Guild made a few Red Specials in sea-foam green.... Seiko stayed true.
Another sweet Seiko from
the wifie for Christmas! So I suppose a green Red Special is appropriate after all!
