Quite a lineup of targets for 2024 ! It sounds as though you have already been through the difficult process of selecting watches to release back into the wild 😉 All of the watches under consideration are very nice and it’s difficult to resist any of them. My personal preference would be for a 321 Speedmaster any Rolex ( take good care when buying a vintage Rolex ) The Patek would be very high on my list and I have this one on order. I recently tried the AP and this dial colours are nice. Unfortunately the service at A P in London is absolutely shocking.

I agree with Abel’s assessment of the situation, it’s a very personal decision. If it was me I would go for option 3b. My reasoning is that I love the dials on both the Nautilus Chronograph and the simplicity of the Vacheron dial. Best regards Captain ...

I know a lot of "purists" kind of poo-poo the mere thought of quartz.
All of my other watches are automatic or manual, I am willing to get a quartz Cartier with the thought that movement is better than the box store quartz watches and the fact that will always be set, running and ready to put on.
I think Cartier is such an iconic design house that it’s pretty much the only watch manufacture that can sell quartz alongside its mechanical movements in numbers.
The shape and case design is such an integral part of the brand.
Get the Tank Solo
It's a great watch. I rotate it regularly between my Royal Oak and Nautilus and it holds its own. Who cares that it's a quartz watch. It's pure class on the wrist.

The first is a Pascal Coyon, with a custom dial. The dial is based on this lovely 30mm, 1928-ish Omega I found a picture of online (of a years-ago sold example): The dial will be not an exact replica, but inspired by this one and has been made by Metalem....
