Grails, hmmm a bit tricky to pick only one!
Well here goes, up first the car, probably since I was a small boy growing up in the UK this has haunted me:
A straight 6cyl 4.2L E-Type Jag roadster of the late 60's
To me the Grail car.
Yes, I know you car buffs will probably recognize this as a Series 3 V12 early 70's, but I snapped this a couple of weeks ago and rather enjoyed it!
I too love the late sixties Ferrari 330 or 365 GTC, fond memories of being driven around in one as a small boy by the uncle who "Did very well for himself" That's British speak for... Was highly intelligent, worked very hard and created a valuable service for which his clients rewarded him quite well.

365GTC
To the Grail watch. Initially I thought about a RG Series 2 by my friend Roger Smith, and in the strictest terms this is probably a better definition of a grail. One day I will have one! But in the meantime....
This is the prototype of a truly hand made watch by a single watchmaker, whose design, vision, blood, sweat & tears are encompassed in his first wrist watch. Where the majority of the movement is made by his his hands on is tools, and painstakingly hand finished. Very close to receiving it. Hopefully in the next 3-4 weeks
My 18K RG plaques for the movement
A close up of the superb Tourbillon styled balance bridge in the Proto.
My initial dial in German Silver coming along...It had to be remade as in the final assembly he wasn't happy with it. I am liking this dedication to quality control, and I'm a patient guy, so don't mind waiting a little longer.
My balance bridge...
OK there you have it. Have an amazing remainder of the weekend,
Cheers,
Tim
