Good times in Tokyo with a Lange 1 , 101.027x
Almost 7 years ago, I had the good fortune to get this 101.027x, which I collected in Tokyo during a family holiday.
The watch is still with me, and remains one of my favourites especially with the blued hands and printed Roman numerals
In many ways, this watch reminds me of the 'good times' we had in Tokyo. It was a great time with the family, the customer service from the Japanese dealer was fantastic, and of course I would be remiss if I forgot to mention how Ianny played a pivotal role in how I got the watch (full story here, thanks Ianny once again!)
One of those magical holidays where a good friend's assistance, a lovely watch, a great dealer's customer service and (last but not least) an awesome family combine to make a Tokyo trip memorable for so many reasons! Good times indeed.

Hello dear Captain! Since I reseted 100% of my collection during COVID none of my current watch have been on trips so far, however two of them reminds me of great memories from the past!
My Longines reminds me of my grandfather who was a farmer as he was wearing a watch similar to this one. My Explorer II reminds me of my dad, who gave me the white dial version some 25 years ago, which I later sold (regrettably!) ...
